Q + A

How did you two meet?

We met on The League, a dating app for busy professionals who didn’t have much time to meet people the “normal” way. What started as swiping and chatting quickly turned into laughter, adventures, and a connection we never expected—but now can’t imagine life without.

How did the proposal happen?

Joey had convinced Nageen that they were heading to a company dinner to celebrate the managers at his work. He told her the dinner would be in Dana Point and, as part of his usual ritual, suggested they arrive a bit early to enjoy a cocktail beforehand. What Nageen didn’t expect was the breathtaking surprise awaiting her—an aisle lined with roses leading to an archway of blooms, with the stunning backdrop of Dana Point, California. There, Joey got down on one knee and proposed, and for Nageen, the answer came as a stunned-but-overjoyed “yes.”

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but to keep the celebration comfortable for all guests, the ceremony and reception are adults-only. If possible, please arrange childcare for the evening; we appreciate you making other plans so everyone can relax and enjoy.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors; dinner and dancing will take place indoors. Please plan for variable outdoor conditions (sun or evening chill).

What should guests know about parking or transportation?

Valet parking is available at the venue; nearby self-parking is very limited. Valet fee: $30 per vehicle for the evening. Street parking is not suitable for overnight or late-night parking—please plan to use valet or arrange alternate transportation.

Are there nearby hotels for out-of-town guests?

Inn at The Mission San Juan Capistrano is our wedding venue and offers on-site accommodations. Several nearby hotels are also available for out-of-town guests—please check availability early and book soon, as rooms tend to fill around the holiday weekend. Visit our 'Travel' page for more information.

Do you prefer physical gifts, contributions to a honeymoon fund, or other options?

We appreciate your generosity — your presence is the best gift. If you’d like to contribute, we prefer contributions to our future and honeymoon fund. Visit our 'Registry' page for more information. If you'd prefer to avoid processing fees, you can send your gift via Zelle using: Joseph Ozeir (951) 255 9763. Thank you for celebrating with us.
